Why the female flirt is wasting her time | the Daily Mail

Not sure why it took a university study to find this—but I never stand in the way of some other person’s research. We all play the game in some ways.

NAA Reveals Biggest Ad Revenue Plunge in More Than 50 Years

This loss of revenue is dramatic. It should be enough to cause a reevaluation of how newspapers do business. However, a common mistake is to cling to what was successful in the past. So expect to see more of the same.

TheDay.com - We Don't Know This Sen. Joe

Why newspapers are going away—
The paper endorsed Senator Joe and now he isn’t playing like the run of the mill suck up democrat –thus they are in a snit—suck it up folks – in the real world you don’t always get what you want and sometimes you don’t even get what you need

Duke's Season Ends With 73-67 Loss to WVU :: WRAL.com

Let the whining begin

The current urban basket ball legend in NC is that Coach K did a great job this year given he had subpar talent. The apologists say this almost every year. Somehow they tend to forget who has a great recruiting advantage and who does the recruiting.
That would be Coach K.
Also I think this speaks to the overall strength of the ACC this year. The other legend was that the ACC was the strongest league in the country—don’t think so this year.

How local TV embraced fake news - Machinist - Salon.com

Sure Salon gets angry now—
Now that the videos aren’t from some lefty interest group they seem real worried.
I don’t like these whoever is doing it. Local news and even some national news organizations are lazy and over the years have been under funded. Thus they will take segments from wherever.
Still this is really new.

It's a wrap - 'Milk' filming ends in S.F.
To the surprise of absolutely no body Sean Penn sows himself to be a self-absorbed mean spirited little twit.
After the article get finished promoting his movie he shows his mean spirited and little minded side—basically he hates it when anyone can access information he doesn’t agree with.
Also just what is he really supposed to be good at? Except for the Ridgemont High movie he always seems to play the same person. However, he is supposed to be very good at it and he is a liberal so it’s OK.

J.P. Morgan Rescues Bear Stearns - WSJ.com

How come???
How come those really smart—I mean really smart guys at least they tell us so tend to forget the same damn thing every 15 or 20 years. What you ask???
They tend to forget that risk and return are somewhat related. Every few years whether it’s saving and loans or junk bonds or subprime mortgages one of these smart guys finds a way to get a great return with no risk and the rest of the geniuses will follow him.
However, the market knows and the market is cleaning things up—let them go broke I really don’t care if they lose now and again it keeps them humble. Those who cannot be allowed to lose are really dangerous as they will keep sucking up money with no regard to the risk of the investment.

BBC NEWS | Health | Tumour growth block hopes raised

This is highly promising. Slowing the growth of tumors is great stopping the growth would be better and preventing them from growing would be best. However, this is really a promising step.

WISCONSIN STATE JOURNAL

Let’s see—maybe I need to change the blog’s focus—
Perhaps to one of “the stupid things people in power do.”

In this case blogger is critical of city and especially of the police chief—he seems to prove the point by assigning detectives to find the blogger. What a dolt.

I don't buy the excuse that he had to evaluate the threat.

This is a threat to your liberty

I’m thinking of turning this blog into a threat blog and senators of both parties who think they should investigate television ministries because the ministers might make too much money is a threat.
Now their attack is the ministries are playing along and are withholding information.

FT.com / Companies / Aerospace & defence - Pelosi points finger at McCain on Boeing

To the dems only blue state jobs are good

They seem to hate the military except when there is a government contract then they are in love

Also how about what Boeing sending work to Japan—well that is OK because they view Boeing as a blue state company

Fired Employee Says Easley's Office Ordered Agencies To Delete E-Mail

He almost made it

Our governor almost made it to the end without a scandal however, there is a real p__sing match between a fired employee and the governor.
IT al involves the basic privatizing of mental health in this state. This was the greatest thing since sliced bread and everyone was behind it—except the clients and the service providers. But what he hell did they know.
Now we find out that it hasn’t improved service in fact it seems to be worse and costs have gone up.
The gov claims he was always against it and the fired employee called him on it.
However it works out he doesn’t look good in this and that comes from a supporter of his—me.

Homeless Shelters in Need of More Funding - Local News - Greenville, NC

Not that I have anything against the homeless or the shelter

But they are always begging for money and they get a ton of it. I work with organizations that have clients that aren’t as visible. Heck, every time a school wants to do a project it’s the homeless shelter or habitat. If there is a dollar out there those two expect three fifty of it.
Remember folks there are other agencies.
