Download Uproar: Record Industry Goes After Personal Use - washingtonpost.com

It's time to send them a message

They now regard personal use as illegal--putting songs from cd's you have bought on to a computer you own is considered illegal --according to the record industry.

It's time to stop buying any music at all-- i think a month of zero revenue will send a message.

Doctors Take Different Stances on Biodefense Lab in Butner :: WRAL.com

Me thinks politics are involved

The dept of homeland security wants to put a biodefense lab in NC but some docs in Raleigh are against it.
Terrible dangerous can’t have it here—strange coming from a radiologist—perhaps the only know medical specialty that really is dangerous to the surrounding population if not managed well.
Still I think it’s probably just the standard envirno-folks—and the anti’s meaning anti anything the government wants to do.

Sausage throwing case costs 20,000 - Telegraph

Morons British justice system

Need I say more?

At least the judges seemed to have some smarts here.
|
Married couple forced to house criminal | Metro.co.uk

more british moron work in court

Guy gives his address as one where he knows the family's daughter. Court doesn't check it out and then orders him to stay under house arrest there. Police can't change it without a court order.
These people are just mad-- mad I tell you.

Top Story: Traci Rhode fined, set free for murder | rhode, convicted, days - Brownsville Herald

Another reason regular folks don’t trust the system

She was found guilty of murder and yet walks free with ten years probation. I’m shocked they didn’t make the police and DA’s office say they’re sorry.

Maybe she will go to work or write a book with the Tennessee murderer—how to kill your husband and get off. This lady didn’t even use an abuse excuse she was convicted and then let off.
I want this jury if i'm in court-- they will swallow anything.

Bun fight beckons as council bans baker from driving down delivery track used since 17th century | the Daily Mail

Not all idiots in the U.K. are on village councils or in the government but it would appear that
All those in government and on councils are idiots

No other comments except it appears that every petty official in the country is a moron.

Binmen refuse to lift frail pensioner's rubbish over four-inch step| News | This is London

The series continues

What series? the British are morons series

They seem to live in a country where the rule makers have complete control. Much like what some folks want for us.

Westbrook beat me too

You might not pay attention to fantasy football but most of you probably saw the “great” play Westbrook made against the Cowboys. Rather than score the TD he dropped at the one which allowed the Eagles to run out the clock and prevent the ‘boys from trying to score and get an onsides kick and score again. well fantasy owners are crushed.
In my league a TD actually counts 6 points – I lost by about 5.4. if he scores I win and go to the finals.

I love this

You ahte the guy-- you want him gone -- then let him time his own exit-- then he's a coward and a quitter.

Just like the Falcons -- they can't even get rid of people right.

Shoplifter caught with beer in pants - Daily Post North Wales

Shoplifter caught with beer in pants - Daily Post North Wales

Living in the U.K. means never having to hear "guilty"
the kicker here is the guy has 70 charges and actually got another one while waiting for trial here and still didn't want to come to court. the "judge" sees a chance for him to rehab.

it seems they let everyone off unless it's some four year old drawing with chalk on the street-- or some real PC crime like bringing ham for lunch.

Yep because everyone knows that warming is all caused my humans. In fact Al won a prize for that science—right.
Remember folks in dealing with some people that facts don’t matter especially when things are an article of faith.

Talk serves as motivational tool for Brady - BostonHerald.com

let's play "who is the jackass?"

Back up DB shots his mouth off-- biggest star makes a big deal about it during game and in the post game.

So who is the ass____? I think it's Brady. that coupled with his total desire to be an official this year. it's like no pass is ever incomplete-- there must have been a penalty.
the guy is showing himself to be a real punk.
great QB but a real punk --

Las Vegas SUN: Diocese Breaks With Episcopal Church

Bye
Write if you haven’t torn yourself apart in five years

If this was any other state except California I would guess the outcome would be that legally a new bishop would be appointed by the national church and he/she would take control of the assets and the rest of those not wishing to leave. California is somewhat different.

On another topic my guess is that there will be an ongoing battle for “purity.” They will continue to throw each other out until nothing is left.

East Carolina Accepts Hawaii Bowl Bid :: WRAL.com

Might teach some people to shut up next time

Looks like Mobile didn’t want ECU this year. Last year the team played in the new game in B’ham and all they did was bitch about everything. Basically acted like they should have been somewhere better. Maybe Mobile didn't need a bunch of loud mouths teling them how to run things.
Have a nice time spending all that money going to Hawaii.

Victim's Family Furious as Ex-Death Row Inmate Nears Parole :: WRAL.com

He hasn’t learned a thing

Committed murder 22 years ago and sent to death row. The courts didn’t like that and gave him life—now he gets paroled in two months. He hasn’t learned a thing. Quotes about how he has changed then he goes on to say—I didn’t mean to kill him if I wanted to I would not have shot his legs. It was just unfortunate.

Not as unfortunate as letting this scum out of prison.
He will be back in trouble just hope he doesn’t hurt anyone—
That would be unfortunate.
Oh-- the victim's family was not notified and the state said they had not registered onine-- the guy was sentenced in 1986 sort of before the internet
-- thye thought life actually meant somthing like life-
